It’s deja vu all over again for more than a dozen families in the rural community of Fairbanks in northeast Gainesville who are trapped after heavy rains.  As was the case in 2017 after Hurricane Irma, their makeshift bridge on Northeast 100th Avenue that allows them to drive over Forest Creek into town for groceries and other essentials was washed out by Elsa’s rains earlier this week.
