Alachua County NAACP President Evelyn Foxx said she never thought she would see a white police officer found guilty of murdering a Black man during the course of his duties.
“Justice has finally come to us,” Foxx said. “This was like the day Obama was elected president. It is just good that this is America.”

I m numb but just overwhelmed with emotion but in a very positive way. There s hope, Jackson said.
