Mercer, commander of the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery Honor Guard at the conclusion of the Unaccompanied Veterans Ceremony Tuesday at the veterans cemetery in Dixon. The ceremony usually held quarterly to honor military members who died without the benefit of military honors and interred during that time period but were postponed last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
