Man pleads to trying to rob Buffalo Wild Wings employee who fought him off, chased him down

SAGINAW, MI A Sebewaing man is newly convicted of trying to rob a woman at knifepoint as she was leaving her shift at Buffalo Wild Wings, a crime he couldn’t complete when his victim fought him off and chased him down.
Justin V. Sabin, 39, on Tuesday, April 27, appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Manvel Trice III and pleaded no contest to assault with intent to rob while armed, a life offense. In exchange, Saginaw County Assistant Prosecutor Sara Brady agreed to dismiss a count of prisoner in possession of contraband, a charge from a separate case brought against Sabin after his arrest on the prior charge.

SAGINAW, MI A judge has found a Saginaw County man who fatally stabbed his roommate and removed his heart to have been insane when he committed the grisly deed, and the victim’s family is not happy with the outcome of his trial.
Morgan D. Notestine, 46, on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 9, appeared via Zoom from the Saginaw County Jail before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Manvel Trice III. Notestine waived his right to a jury trial, opting to proceed with a bench trial in which Trice would serve as the sole determiner of fact.
