According to firefighters, the call for the fire came in at 1:58 a.m. Crews responded to the 2200 block of Savona Quay in the Crescent Condos, where they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the side of one of the buildings. The fire was marked under control at 2:28 a.m., firefighters said. All occupants exited the structure safely, and no injuries were reported.

He woke up at 2 a.m. to the sound of his smoke detector going off.   “If our fire alarms weren’t working. Our family wouldn’t be here today, he said. “I ran out into the living room, saw there was fire coming up through the window and the side of the house. I yelled for my mom and my fiancé.”
