An academy has installed 1,132 solar panels in the latest round of student-led eco work.
Worle Community School Academy (WCSA) has installed solar panels across the school, in Redwing Drive, to produce free electricity and to help the environment.
The school’s student-led Climate Justice Revolution (CJR) has been campaigning successfully for changes for the past two years.
The CJR recently finished semi-finalists in the international Global Social Leaders competition involving more than 600 teams from 105 countries.
CJR leader and school head boy, Jack Clark, said: “We are thrilled to see the solar panels right across the school producing environmentally friendly energy.
The book was published by The Priory Press, which has seven more books available on Amazon.
Director of careers James Wilmot said: It is great to see people from all over the world enjoying our students work.
“It has achieved bestseller status in the Amazon Children s Christmas Book Chart and peaked at number two.
“It is a great achievement for our students. It takes a lot of bravery and creativity to produce something like this.”
