Throughout the month of June, agents and staff of Richard A. Zuber Realty will be collecting nonperishable food and toiletry items for the nonprofit organization Veterans Making a Difference an organization dedicated to helping veterans in need in Berks County.
Items are being collected at Zuber Realtyâs Boyertown and Royersford offices throughout the month with special collection days scheduled at the Boyertown office on June 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Berks-Mont Business Associationâs Philadelphia Avenue Street Fair and at Boyertownâs Rednerâs Market on June 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Giving back to veterans is an honor and a privilege for Vanessa Deskie, real estate agent with Richard A. Zuber Realty and member of Zuber Realtyâs Community Outreach Committee.
Ninth Circuit Civics Contest s Guam winners announced

Students from St. John s School and Academy of Our Lady of Guam won the preliminary round of the 2021 Ninth Circuit Civics Contest, according to a news release.
The contest accepted entries from high school students in the western U.S., Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
“We acknowledge the students for their work and dedication to compete in the contest that hopefully gave them the opportunity to learn more about our nation’s legal system and constitutional democracy, said Janis L. Sammartino, district judge of San Diego and chair of the Ninth Circuit’s Public Information and Community Outreach Committee.

The Chattanooga Music Club will celebrate its 125th Anniversary for its members with a dinner at The Walden Club on Tuesday, May 18.
Music will start at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m.
There will be historic displays and accomplishments will be highlighted.

Conasauga Drug Court Donates Stuffed Animals To Crisis Center Monday, May 10, 2021
The Conasauga Drug Court’s Community Outreach Group completed a drive Friday that collected 50 teddy bears and other toy animals that were donated to Dalton’s Northwest Georgia Crisis Center. It is hoped that the toys will become comforting friends to children who are receiving services from the Crisis Center, organizers said.
The stuffed animals were collected by Drug Court participants, staff members and members of the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office, along with Judge Jim Wilbanks and his staff.
