Shaftesbury trail utility realignment project digital open house taking place on Mar. 18

Article content Upon receiving a $6 million grant from the Building Canada Fund and partnered with the Town of Peace River’s Neighborhood Infrastructure Renewal Program, the Town will be upgrading sewer and water infrastructure in Lower West Peace and sewer main discrepancies affecting Lower West Peace and the Pines. Community members are encouraged to attend a digital open house to learn more about the Shaftesbury Trail Utility Realignment Project. The open house will be taking place on Mar. 18 at 7 p.m. Director of engineering and infrastructure for the Town of Peace River, Jim McCuaig, explained in an interview with the Peace River Record – Gazette that the grant was allocated to the Town as funding for various projects within the town.
