She toured the half-mile oval in 1:56.4.
The win was bittersweet, however, as Wonderful World ($4.60) was claimed away from owner-trainer Sabrina Shaw by Michael Gentner for $21,000.
Using her early gate speed, Wonderful World cruised immediately to the top and registered splits of :29, :57.2 and 1:26.3 in her typical front-pacing style. Turning for home, Wonderful World (Billy Davis Jr.) had little to worry about in crossing the wire. Xenias Chip made a mild bid extremely late and had to settle for second place, while Greenhilldebatable (Shawn McDonough) captured third.

Students at Soas University of London have called for its director to resign after a meeting where he used the N-word in response to a question about lecturers using the term in class.
In a meeting on Thursday afternoon between students and Adam Habib – a recording of which has been seen by the Guardian – a student asked: “How can Soas issue statements about Black Lives Matter while … allowing lecturers to say the N-word in class?”
Habib, saying the word aloud in a fragmented response, said: “The issue around that is, I personally on the [N-word], somebody making that allegation, then just bring it to me, I don’t know the case.”

Batavia, NY - Despite wintry conditions and a sloppy track, driver Ray Fisher Jr. was on top of his game and delivered five horses to the harness racing winner s circle at Batavia Downs on Wednesday night (Dec. 9) including three straight winners in races two through four for the natural hat trick.
Fisher s top score was in the $10,200 Open I Handicap trot with CR Blazin Beauty, who bolted right to the front and called all the shots. With the two post time favorites making breaks before the quarter, CR Blazin Beauty went unchallenged through fractions of :28.2, :59 and 1:27.4 and then turned for home with a four-length lead. From there she trotted to the wire under wraps to win in 1:59.1.
