Robintheatm came flying through the passing lane to win Buffalo Raceway s $10,200 Class A-Open Handicap Pace for the ladies on a raw Wednesday night (April 21).
After seeing her four-race win streak abruptly end last week, Robintheatm (Jim Morrill Jr.) was bumped up in class, but that didn t stop her from beginning a new victory run.
Wonderful World (Mike Baumeister) showed the way through the opening three panels with splits of :28.3, :56.1 and 1:27.3 over a sloppy track. But turning for home, she called it a night while the closers started to make their surge to the finish line.
Robintheatm ($5.70), who got the pocket trip, proved to be the quickest of all in 1:58.1, while Yankee Secret (Ray Fisher Jr.) took second, three-quarters of a length back and Ellieonthemove (Kevin Cummings) finished third.
