From Staff Reports In honor of National Correctional Officers Week, Congressman Fred Keller (PA-12) today met with correctional officers and staff at USP Lewisburg to present a certificate of recognition and thank them for their continued service to the community. Coinciding with Congressman Keller’s visit was a job fair at the penitentiary, hosted by the federal Bureau of Prisons. USP Lewisburg is currently seeking qualified applicants to serve as correctional officers and fill other positions. Keller was joined at the event by Shane Fausey, President of the National Council of Prison Locals 33 and Andy Kline, President of USP Lewisburg’s Local 148 union.
