“I was home, with a clean toilet at hand. Why not try a more eco-friendly option?” said Prachi Shevgaonkar, 23, who runs a startup in Pune. She made the switch to reusable sanitary pads five months ago. Like Shevgaonkar, Sanya Arora, 21, a management student in Delhi, also started using reusable pads last year. “My mother is a nature lover and believes in following a sustainable lifestyle. She got Covid-19 last year and the extent to which our relationship with nature is broken became evident. For me, there were two triggers a wish to follow in my mother’s footsteps and Covid-19,” she said.

JAMMU, Mar 13: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council has finalised the J&K UT Fencing teams for upcoming junior and senior national competitions scheduled to be held at Rudrapur Uttarakhand from March 15 to 17 and March 19 to 21 respectively.
The teams were finalised after the screening conducted at Fencing Hall Maulana Azad Stadium here by Ashok Singh Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council and Satish Gupta, Manager MA Stadium Jammu.
The convener Ad-hoc Committee J&K Amateur Fencing Association Rashid Ahmed Choudhary along with other members of the committee wished good luck to both the teams.
