Darrin Ledford has been endorsed by the Chattanooga Firefighters for re-election to City Council District 4.
He said, Public safety is the backbone of our community. I am honored to receive the Chattanooga Firefighters Association s support in my re-election effort to the Chattanooga City Council.
Our firefighters not only deserve our best effort and full support but our sincerest gratitude for their commitment to being the absolute best.
I am grateful for every opportunity to learn and understand through experience the tremendous stress and influences they undergo due to their profession s hazardous nature. Their example shows us the spirit of inclusion, camaraderie, and genuine love in serving our great community.
Chattanooga Firefighters Association Endorses Thomas Lee For City Council District 2 Wednesday, February 10, 2021
The Chattanooga Firefighters Association announced its endorsement of Thomas Lee for Chattanooga City Council District 2.
Mr. Lee said, “I am proud to announce the endorsement of my candidacy by the Chattanooga Firefighters Association. The Chattanooga Fire Fighters do a terrific job of protecting our communities. It is important the city continues to fund the fire department at a level to ensure the retention and recruitment of quality fire fighters and the provision of necessary equipment to keep our fire fighters properly equipped.”
The Lee campaign said, Among the top concerns of District 2 residents is public safety and Thomas Lee is committed to ensuring that public safety throughout Chattanooga is always a top priority.
Chattanooga Fire Fighters Endorse Raquetta Dotley For City Council District 7 Saturday, February 6, 2021
The Dotley campaign said, Raquetta is a community-conscious candidate running to build stronger communities in District 7. In doing so, she will stand with fire fighters and help ensure their right to better pay and working conditions. Raquetta will work with the Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association in her first 100 days in office by working with the mayor to resolve pay disparities to increase the recruitment and retention of our first responders. Raquetta is committed to meeting with the Fire Fighters Association to ensure that their needs are met by the budget and will be a true advocate when it comes to funding.
