A few fleeting moments remain in the call for abstracts for the 28th ASIC Conference on Coffee Science, currently scheduled to take place this June 28 through July 1 online and in-person in Montpellier, France.
The conference is the main event of the Association for the Science and Information on Coffee (ASIC), convening hundreds of scientists to explore a broad range of topics such as coffee agronomy, chemistry, technology, physiology, and packaging.
The last ASIC conference was in Portland, Oregon, in 2018, resulting in a number of major revelations with practical implications for the coffee industry.
The biennial conference was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, although in-person activities are scheduled to resume this year at the Montpellier SupAgro public educational institution. For the first time, the event will also be made available in video format online.
