Diversity is necessary and important, but how that is done is just as vital to communication and progress. In observance of Havdalah, The Congregation Children of Israel will host a streaming video discussion of how Jews portray themselves in cinema at 7 p.m. on Jan. 30, featuring panelists Rabbi Eric Linder of Athens and Dr. Zachary Friedman from Georgia Gwinnett College. The event is free and open to the public, and will be followed by an audience Q&A discussion.
