3 chargesheeted for duping foreign nationals Updated: Updated: Money-laundering probe based on FIR registered by Goa police Share Article Money-laundering probe based on FIR registered by Goa police The Enforcement Directorate has filed a chargesheet against three persons and a company for allegedly cheating foreign nationals on the pretext of investments in flats and villas located in Goa. The accused have been identified as Sunil Kumar, Ankit Kumar, Synthia Durbhatkar Jain and Sanatan Financers & Real Estate Private Limited. The money-laundering probe is based on an FIR registered by the Goa police against the company and others, following receipt of complaints from several foreign nationals.

In fact the number of Covid deaths has shot up in the first two days of May; 78 deaths till the afternoon of 2nd May. But, in reality, it is not as scary as it sounds, except Bardez taluka, which has now become the hub of the pandemic. The recovery rate is almost 98 per cent while the death rate varies between little over two per cent in Bardez to merely 0.38 per cent in Sattari.  As per the Covid19 bulletin released yesterday by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS),  Goa right now has 24,194 active Covid19 cases while the deadly virus has taken a toll of only 423, though these were also our precious lives.
