Trio charged after Balaclava home invasion
Detectives from Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit have arrested and charged three men following an aggravated home invasion in Balaclava earlier this month.
A residence on Gourlay Street was allegedly broken into about 7.30am on Saturday, 10 July.
It’s alleged two male occupants were threatened with a firearm before three offenders stole prescription drugs, cash and credit cards.
Tireless work by detectives led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Glen Waverley man in Clayton last Friday, 16 July.
A 29-year-old man was then arrested at an address in Oakleigh later that day.
After further investigation, a 21-year-old Beaconsfield man was arrested at his address on Tuesday.

Two More Teachers Test Positive For COVID In Melbourne As Exposure Sites Grow
30 new exposure sites
Two more teachers have tested to positive for COVID-19 in Victoria, with both connected to Trinity Grammar in Kew.
Three cases now stem from the boys school.
The list of COVID exposure sites has grown overnight - another 30 locations have been added.
This includes the Glen Waverley train line on Wednesday, which is now considered a tier two exposure site; Deakin Uni campus at Geelong Waurn Ponds is also a tier two exposure site; an F45 gym in Richmond is a tier one site.
