Remorseless couple who caged a slave in their Melbourne home for eight years are jailed

Husband and wife found guilty of holding woman as a slave for 8 years
The identities of Kumuthini and Kandasamy Kannan had been protected 
The slave had been branded a liar by her captor's defence barrister
Jury heard evidence from the Tamil woman who claimed she was enslaved 
She vanished for eight years until found when she collapsed in the house 
Kumunthini threw hot tea in her slave's eyes and poured gravy on her head
