DPS identifies truck driver fatally shot after Nogales police chase on I-19 Amaris Encinas, Arizona Republic © The Republic Update The Arizona Department of Public Safety identified a truck driver who was fatally shot by law enforcement officers after a chase on Interstate 19 on Monday as 39-year-old Glen Ray Cockrum, according to department spokesperson Bart Graves. © The Republic Shooting DPS troopers assisted the Santa Cruz County Sheriff s Department with a vehicle pursuit of a tractor-trailer on I-19 near Rico Rico shortly after 1 p.m., Graves said in a statement Thursday.  DPS provided a supporting role as the chase headed north then back south on I-19 back into Nogales, he said.
