Shasta County Board of Supervisors Chambers reopened to the public
The Shasta County Board of Supervisors reopened the chambers back to the public on Tuesday.

REDDING, Calif. – The Shasta County Board of Supervisors reopened the chambers back to the public on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s meeting was a bit mellower compared to last week. But while there was not a big group of people, more than a dozen people still showed up to the meeting.
People were spread out across the Board chambers. Many not wearing masks.
A sign once posted outside the chambers letting people it was closed off, now replaced with another saying people cannot bring in their own seats. That’s because the county is limiting how many people can be inside.
More healthcare workers will be able to get their vaccine in Shasta County
More healthcare workers in Shasta County will be able to get the Covid-19 vaccine this week.

REDDING, Calif. - More healthcare workers in Shasta County will be able to get the Covid-19 vaccine this week.
In-home supportive services providers and community health workers are the next group to get their Covid vaccine.
The county is planning to have a mass vaccination clinic at Benton Airpark on Saturday.
People can also sign up to get their covid-19 vaccine through Safeway, but that s only by appointment.
