New Delhi [India], February 23 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday attacked Narayanaswamy over his allegations that the BJP government at the Centre, NR Congress and AIADMK had succeeded in dislodging his government by using the voting power of the three nominated members. This is a murder of democracy. The people of Puducherry and this country will teach them a lesson, Narayanswamy had said.
Reacting to the allegation, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said: It doesn t matter who Narayanaswamy is blaming. People of Puducherry and of our country have rejected them. People of the country are blaming Congress for depriving the country of active and strong leadership.

The police remand of climate activist Disha Ravi brought the Opposition and ruling BJP to verbal blows on Monday with the Congress-led camp flagging “threat to democracy” and the BJP saying “a crime is a crime, age just a number”.
Criminal is criminal: BJP defends police
BJP leaders defended the police action, saying Disha was an adult and must be held responsible for her actions. “A criminal is a criminal and age is immaterial if the person isn’t a juvenile.” party spokespersons Sambit Patra and Gaurav Bhatia said.
Non-BJP parties rallied behind Disha, demanding her release but top BJP leaders, including minister Gajendra Shekhawat, said if age was an issue, “I am proud of Param Vir Chakra Second Lt Arun Khetarpal, martyred at 21.”

The action taken by the Delhi Police on an FIR related to a toolkit shared by climate campaigner Greta Thunberg in support of the ongoing farmer protests has triggered a war of words between the opposition and the ruling BJP.
Accusing the government of murdering democracy by using force against a 21-year-old, the opposition on Monday said the voice of India cannot be silenced even as the BJP defended the action, saying a crime is a crime no matter at what age.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi led the opposition offensive following the arrest of 21-year-old Disha Ravi in the case and said the country will not be silenced.
