RICHMOND, Ind. (AP) â Indiana State Police say one person is dead after a small plane crash in eastern Indiana. Authorities say one person is dead in a plane crash in eastern Indiana.
Police spokesman Coley McCutcheon says the crash happened Sunday south of Richmond Municipal Airport. The pilot was the only person on board. He was identified as 78-year-old Judson J. Costlow, of Richmond.
The Federal Aviation Administration says a single-engine Aerotek A240 crashed after departure just south of the Richmond Municipal Airport. The agency is investigating along with the National Transportation Safety Board.

RICHMOND, Ind. (AP) The pilot of a small plane died Sunday morning in a crash in eastern Indiana, according to Indiana State Police.
The crash happened outside the Richmond Municipal Airport and the pilot was the only person on board, said police spokesman Coley McCutcheon.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane was a single-engine Aerotek A240 and it crashed around 8 a.m. less than a mile south of the airport.
The agency was investigating the crash along with the National Transportation Safety Board, according to a statement.

ANDERSON, Ind. A suspect stole a trooper s patrol car on Saturday afternoon and subsequently crashed it in Anderson after leading officers in a pursuit.
Sgt. Coley McCutcheon said traffic cameras caught a suspect looking into an abandoned car at around 2:45 p.m. that was on the side of Interstate 69 at the 202 mile-marker.
A trooper went to see what the suspect was doing and ended up chasing the suspect on foot and tazing him.
