Pharmacy2U are reminding people about the importance of the Covid vaccine.
North Tyneside has seen a rise in the number of Indian variant cases, leading to the Government advising people not to travel in and out of the borough unless necessary.
Officials at Pharmacy2U, the UK’s largest online pharmacy, are now urging people to get vaccinated when they become eligible and also continue following the ‘Hands. Face. Space’ message.
Phil Day, Superintendent Pharmacist at Pharmacy2U, said: “The spread of the Indian variant of Covid-19 means that we must ensure we continue to exercise caution. This variant seems to be more transmissible which has led to a rise in cases and hospitalisations across the country – particularly in the North Tyneside area.
