What is now expected is a 2p cut to National Insurance and another freeze on fuel duty. But could jeremy hunt go even further . The chancellor is hoping to use his Big Red Box Moment tomorrow to declare a definitive economic Turning Point after years of crisis and shocks. Certainly the path and forecast for Inflation Looks like that. Look at this inflation is falling back from its Energy Shock Highs towards the Bank Of England target. On the other hand, its a little tricky to talk about a Turning Point when as you see here, the economy just started shrinkng at the end of last year you can see a shallow recession, but one noneth

It is damp and dreary with scattered shop showers across the far south and east. That will translate into this this afternoon, the Weather Front Clinging to the north sea, filtering and quite a lot of clouds, the best of the breaks further inland where have already seen them through the spine of the country unto the west. A pretty messy story that in comparison to the weather lately not bad for some. Where we have the cloud, temperatures will struggle, perhaps around eight or nine, but further west with sunshine, highs of 11 or 12. In the clear skies by day, that will allow temperatures to fall through the night, frost and fog returning for some, certainly across parts of wales and Central England we could see temperatures just below freezing, obviously with the crowd from the north sea temperatures holding up at
Good afternoon. Donald trump has been accused of plotting to overturn the result of the president ial election in 2020. Hes been charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, by spreading lies, dishonesty, fraud and deceit. Hes described the indictment as ridiculous. It is the third criminal case against mr trump whos already been accused of mishandling classified government documents and of covering up a Hush Money Payment to a porn star. Despite all that, hes still favourite to be the republican candidate in next years race for the white house. Our North America correspondent sean dilley reports. We love trump hes the first president to be charged with a federal crime. But if previous cases are anything to go by, Donald Trumps third indictment is only likely to boost his popularity with republican voters. The charges he faces, though, are serious. The 45 Page Indictment accuses the former president of knowingly spreading false claims about Election Fraud to trick and persuade
