Las Cruces Public Schools asks for feedback on renaming administration building in honor of Karen Trujillo From Staff Reports Trujillo died Feb. 25 after she was struck by a vehicle while walking her dogs. On March 16, the LCPS Board of Education asked interim Superintendent Ralph Ramos to appoint a committee to consider renaming the district s administration building. Ramos appointed eight members to the committee: Alvaro Rivera. Bobby Stout, Connie Stewart, Deanna Wilkinson, Gabe Jacquez, Samantha Lewis, Samuel Hernandez and Stephen Jeffries. The district, in an effort to get public input, developed a survey, which will be emailed to staff and parents of school children.
