Trujillo died Feb. 25 after she was struck by a vehicle while walking her dogs.
On March 16, the LCPS Board of Education asked interim Superintendent Ralph Ramos to appoint a committee to consider renaming the district s administration building. Ramos appointed eight members to the committee: Alvaro Rivera. Bobby Stout, Connie Stewart, Deanna Wilkinson, Gabe Jacquez, Samantha Lewis, Samuel Hernandez and Stephen Jeffries.
The district, in an effort to get public input, developed a survey, which will be emailed to staff and parents of school children. Community members are also encouraged to fill out the survey, which will be available in English and Spanish on the district website. Find the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZF9GYLL.

A court heard Woolley, who boxed in his youth, had reacted to objectionable comments that Mr Jeffries made to a group of people sat drinking outside the cafe.
Woolley was in the group and got up and followed Mr Jeffries, who had been drinking.
CCTV played in court shows the two men walking along the pavement a short distance apart.
Mr Jeffries stops and appears to study a sign by the entrance of a multi-storey car park when he is punched.
