Lidl confirms major investment and jobs boost for Mid-West By Live95 News Team Lidl has confirmed a €20 million investment boost into Limerick stores which will create 65 local jobs.
The major supermarket chain confirmed its investment plans for 3 stores in the area.
The company have said that hundreds of additional roles will also be created during the constructions and fit out phase.
Reinvestment in a rebuild project for Dublin Road Lidl has resulted in five new roles at the outlet and the store is due to reopen June 3rd.
A further 30 permanent jobs will also be created after Lidl recently received planning permission to build a new store on the Dock Road.

Search By Live95 News Team Limerick City and County Council have granted planning permission for another Lidl store.
The new store on the Dock Road would create 30 new local permanent jobs as well as many more during the construction phase.
Lidl plan to proceed with development at the site of the former National Rusk Factory as soon as possible provided there are no appeals to An Bórd Pleaála.
Meanwhile development of another Lidl store has recommenced at the site in Corbally following the lifting of restrictions. There are Lidl stores in Castletroy, on Childers Road and on the Ennis Road.
