Police in Worcester have arrested two men after a double shooting Wednesday morning that left two people with gunshot injuries on Coes Street, authorities said.
During the investigation John Guzman and Jacob Rosa, both from Worcester, were arrested, police said. Rosa was arraigned shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Two victims were rushed to the hospital and two men were arrested after a double shooting in Worcester early Wednesday morning, according to authorities.
Multiple officers headed to Buffum and Coes streets around 2:30 a.m. after they received a ShotSpotter activation in the area.
Police heard gunshots coming from inside a home on Coes Street and saw two people run out shortly after. John Guzman and Jacob Rosa, both of Worcester, were arrested during the investigation.
WORCESTER A 20-year-old man was arraigned on two counts of armed assault to murder Wednesday, following a double shooting inside a home on Coes Street that authorities left one man with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
John L. Guzman-Rivera, of 103 Illinois St., Apt. 3, was ordered held without bail Wednesday afternoon in Central District Court pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for next week.
Police arrested Guzman-Rivera near 21 Coes St. after the city’s gunfire detection system alerted to shots fired in the area around 2:30 a.m.
Police said they heard more shots when they got to the area, then spotted people running from the home and found two victims.
