Kyle Durham of Norborne was named to a second term as the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council’s Chairman, following a vote by the board of directors on Tuesday, July 27. In that role, he leads the 13-farmers elected to oversee Missouri’s soybean checkoff investments.
According to a press release, He was first elected to the role during the board of directors’ summer 2020 meeting.
Officials say Durham’s leadership team was also re-elected to a second term. The executive board for the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council includes Durham, as well as vice-chairman Aaron Porter, a soybean farmer from Dexter and secretary/treasurer Mark Lehenbauer of Palmyra. Soybean farmer Robert Alpers of Prairie Home led the nomination process.
