UPDATE: New details in deadly Kalamazoo shooting of Decatur man, suspect ID’d By Will Kriss Jul 26, 2021 | 4:59 PM KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department has released new details in a shooting over the weekend that resulted in the death of a Decatur man. Previously, police had responded to reports of a shooting Friday in the 3400 block of West Main Street around 4:30 p.m. Once on scene, police found the victim, 25-year-old Michael Jaye Underwood III, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. In an update released Monday, police said the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Darrell Felton of Kalamazoo Township, is believed to have shot Michael Underwood as the result of an argument.
