Americaâs largest supermarket chain recently started delivery service even though it has no actual stores here. What it does have is a lot of busy bots working in a warehouse west of Orlando.

The news came to Tampa Bay on billboards, in mailboxes and through radio and TV ads: Residents can now get groceries delivered by the well-known, Cincinnati-based, 138-year-old Kroger grocery store.

May 19 A Kuna man was sentenced to 15 years in prison on an attempted strangulation conviction on Wednesday, according to the Ada County Prosecutor s Office.
Gary Hawkins, 52, was arrested in September 2019 and charged for allegedly strangling someone multiple times inside a vehicle, according to a Wednesday release. He was found guilty by a jury in March.
At the time of the attack, Hawkins was still on parole for a first-degree murder charge, according to the prosecutor s office.
Hawkins was sentenced to life in prison after killing a Lewiston woman while robbing her home in 1986, according to The Lewiston Tribune. He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder but eventually was released on parole, according to prosecutors. He was 18 at the time of his murder trial and then spent at least that many years in prison.

BOISE, Idaho A Kuna man who previously served time for first-degree murder is headed back to prison for an attack on a woman in 2019.
Gary Hawkins, 52, was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years behind bars - the maximum punishment for attempted strangulation.
Hawkins was arrested in September 2019 for trying to choke the woman several times inside a car. The woman survived the attack and told police what happened.
“I want to thank the victim for her courage in coming forward to report this serious crime,” said Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts. “Thank you also to the Boise Police Department for their thorough investigation.”
