Texas Officer Put Knee on Suspect s Neck After He Claimed It Was Broken On 4/29/21 at 12:45 PM EDT Gary Berger, 40, was apprehended by officers on January 19 during a traffic stop in Montgomery County. He apparently crashed his motorcycle as a police vehicle, which he claims he has not seen, followed him. It is unclear if the police officer wanted him to stop. Police bodycam footage seen by Newsweek shows Berger standing with his arms by his side next to a fallen motorcycle as an officer tells him to get on the ground and threatens to taser him if he does not comply.

Montgomery County man files complaint after accusing deputies of breaking his neck during traffic stop Updated:  Tags:  MONTGOMERY COUNTY – A Montgomery County man has filed a complaint against the Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office after he said officers used excessive force and broke his neck during a traffic stop. On Jan. 19, 40-year-old Gary Berger said he was riding his motorcycle home when he was unaware that an officer was following him. Alberto Ruiz, Berger’s attorney, said the officer’s cruiser’s dashcam video showed Berger’s motorcycle hitting a dip on the side of the road as he turned into his fiancée’s street, causing him to fall over.
