Helping hand for the homeless
The Mano y Mano Day Labor Program started by the City of Las Cruces and Mesilla Valley Community Hope provides work to people experiencing homeless here in Las Cruces. The program pays up to $45 a day and much of the work is beautifying the city of Las Cruces, including trash pick up, gardening, and cleaning up public parks.
