Mass eviction notices at Arkansas apartment complex catch tenants off guard

WYNNE, Ark. – Multiple tenants at a Wynne apartment complex say they’re being evicted because of unpaid rent, even though many of them claim they’re fully paid up.
Residents at the unnamed complex on Bridges Avenue tell WREG that almost all of the 24 tenants at the complex received a notice giving them until Friday to vacate the premises.
“How? Like, how? I get kicked out tomorrow, where are me and my kids – where are we gonna go?” said tenant Kendra Jackson.
Jackson’s eviction notice claims she’s behind on her rent, but Jackson says that isn’t possible.

The moment a man doused accelerant over seats on a Melbourne train and lit them on fire has been captured on CCTV as police search for the offender.
Video shows the man pouring the liquid accelerant on three seats while the train is stopped at Laverton station, in the city s south-west, on March 16.

Per information released by police, investigators are seeking a man, caucasian in appearance, around 175cm tall and approximately 30 years of age, seen in the footage wearing a dark cap and a grey hoodie. The man was also seen in the footage wearing a face mask off his face, around his chin. Which, lol.

Kendra Jackson stated that no one was hurt in the incident, and that “investigators are appealing to anyone who may have in the vicinity of the Laverton Railway Station about 11.10am on 16 March or anyone who may recognise the man to come forward.”

A Texas teacher has resigned after a photo showing her foot on the neck of a 10-year-old Black student prompted a backlash.
It later circulated on social media after being posted on Facebook by the boy s aunt, Lakadren Jackson, who called it unacceptable.
The teacher, who is white and was not named, was placed on administrative leave while the incident was investigated.
