It pointed out that the Commission has already directed chief secretaries and state police chiefs to take penal action, including lodging of an FIR, against violators in all such cases under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and other relevant laws.
Kerala assembly polls: LDF leads in 91 seats, UDF 46 , NDA 2
Trends at 10 am show that LDF is leading in 91 seats, while UDF is ahead in 46 seats and NDA in 2 seats.
A total of 4, 56,771 postal ballots were returned to the returning officers till Saturday.
Early leads show that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Health Minister K K Shailaja, former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala were leading in their respective constituencies, while BJP state chief K Surendran is trailing in both the seats-Konni and Manjeswaram.
LDF is leading in Kannur, Kottayam, Alappuzha and Kozhikode constituencies.

KOCHI: The Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR), a non-profit research organisation, which conducted a post-poll survey across the state predicted a photo finish in Kerala Assembly polls.
According to the survey report released by CPPR, 41.7% of the respondents favoured the LDF while 41.6% people supported the UDF. As many as 12.3% of people opted for the NDA.
