Social Share Defending champion Gabrielle Leslie destroyed Leah Ollivierre 6-0, 6-0 when the women’s  Barbados Tennis Association Invitational Top 8 was served off at the National Tennis Centre, Wildey, yesterday morning. Leslie displayed total superiority in every facet of the game as her serves and line drives proved too potent for Ollivierre to make a match of the Group 2 contest. The other Group 2 battle saw Asha King ruling over Taisha Jones 6-3, 6-3. King, who lost the last match which she played against Jones, took the first set and then stuttered slightly in the second with Jones moving from 0-1 to lead 2-1. King locked at two and three before forcing Jones into making some uncharacteristic errors to lose the fight.
