New babies await at Davis Farmland

New babies await at Davis Farmland Ken Cleveland But at Davis Farmland, the signs of spring include babies. With about 40 additions to the Farmland family, young goats, sheep and calves are among those preparing to welcome visitors when the Sterling farm opens for the season. Nigerian Dwarf goats, which owner Larry Davis said were “extremely rare,” are just a couple of weeks old. “Such cute little tiny babies,” they are hanging around their moms when they wake up so as to get their breakfast, but they are getting ready to explore more. Some of the new additions recently moved from the winter barn to the farmland area, and had not yet been named.
