The operation, which also yielded nearly $33,000 in suspected drug proceeds, also led to three arrests. According to a statement by Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale, an investigation into the illegal narcotics sales began in January following complaints from concerned residents in the area.  Surveillance undertaken as part of the investigation in early February led to the discovery of a suspected drug dealer, later identified as Thomas William, participating in drug transactions with various buyers, including on Tuesday when he is said to have engaged in a hand-to-hand transaction with Kevin G.
