Three men were chopped and injured after they reportedly attempted to steal a motor vehicle from a man who is said to be a Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) member in St Catherine on Wednesday.
Reports are that the soldier was traveling along the Bog Walk Gorge heading towards Spanish Town in his private motor vehicle when he was reportedly held up by four men who attempted to rob him of the vehicle when the soldier stopped after experiencing an upset stomach.
Reports are that the incident occurred some five minutes after the soldier stopped at the Bog Walk Bridge entrance to the Sligoville Road, where the men initially approached him, asking if he was well.

There was high drama in Bogwalk, St. Catherine, on Wednesday night when four men attempted to rob a Jamaica Defence Force soldier of his private motor car.
One of them has been hospitalised in serious condition after the JDF corporal used a machete to sever one of his hands.
The drama began sometime after seven o clock last night in Kent Village, Bog Walk, St. Catherine.
It s reported that the JDF corporal was driving his motor car toward Spanish Town when he stopped along the roadway because he was feeling ill.
The soldier was reportedly approached by four men, one of them armed with a gun, who demanded that he hand over the keys to his vehicle.

According to NEW , Sandy stormed a polling station at Kent Village with thugs and disrupted the work of the National Elections Commission ( NEC ). One of the thugs even threatened the life of a district electoral commission.
