HawkeyeReport - Aaron Graves makes his official visit to Iowa

In-state defensive lineman Aaron Graves, who was Iowa s first commit in the Class of 2022, finally had a chance to make his official visit with the Hawkeyes this weekend. For the 6-foot-5, 270-pound Graves, it was nice to get back on campus and see everyone in person again, including new strength coach Raimond Braithwaite. Visiting with the players and recruits was such a good time, said Graves. Just being around them this weekend I had a blast. Also, I really loved talking to Coach Braithwaite as well because I love the weight room. Graves, who committed to Iowa two years ago after earning an offer at camp his freshman year, was able to spend a lot of time around the current players this weekend.

Chase Carter Likes Genuine Feel on Iowa Official

Some college football programs create an atmosphere meant to feel like nirvana when hosting recruits. Chase Carter doesn t get that vibe from Iowa.  The Class of 2022 Minneapolis (MN) Minnehaha Academy defensive end officially visited the Hawkeyes during the weekend. He came away feeling he received a genuine picture of what it would be like being a student-athlete at Iowa and that the ones already at the school wanted to be there.  It was laid back and nothing was forced, Carter told HN. It seemed like everybody truly enjoyed being there and the culture that they re building. I think that s what stood out to me the most.

HawkeyeReport - Carter impressed by Iowa visit

Minneapolis defensive end Chase Carter was finally able to make his official visit with the Iowa Hawkeyes this weekend. The 6-foot-6, 215-pound Carter has stayed in close contact with Iowa defensive line coach Kelvin Bell throughout the recruiting process, but getting a chance to meet face to face and see campus for the first time was a new opportunity. I loved the visit, said Carter. I thought it was really good. Like Coach Bell has always said, talking about Iowa City is not the same as actually being there and experiencing everything, he continued. I think that was one big thing that stood out as well as the coaches and the progression in the program. This weekend really showed me a lot.

Cox leaves Vpress

Monday, March 15, 2021 Web-to-print developer Vpress has parted company with managing director Tim Cox after just under nine years at the helm. Cox has headed the business since 2012 Printweek understands that Cox officially left the 15-staff, Cheltenham-headquartered business at the end of February, although he is still listed at Companies House as a director who “has significant influence or control”. According to an industry source, Cox’s departure was “amicable” and had been under discussion for several months with his fellow directors: sales director Kelvin Bell, technical director James Hall and Martin Guntrip. It was largely driven by his desire to take a step back from day-to-day operations to enable him to “expand his horizons” by taking on consultancy type projects both inside and outside the print industry.
