Some college football programs create an atmosphere meant to feel like nirvana when hosting recruits. Chase Carter doesn't get that vibe from Iowa.Â
The Class of 2022 Minneapolis (MN) Minnehaha Academy defensive end officially visited the Hawkeyes during the weekend. He came away feeling he received a genuine picture of what it would be like being a student-athlete at Iowa and that the ones already at the school wanted to be there.Â
"It was laid back and nothing was forced," Carter told HN. "It seemed like everybody truly enjoyed being there and the culture that they're building. I think that's what stood out to me the most."Â
