Kenneth Lewis Harris WILMINGTON Kenneth Lewis Harris, 69, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021. He was born July 16, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late George Lewis and Ethel (Everette) Harris. He was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and later attended Fisk University, graduating in 1973 as a proud Fiskite! He was married shortly after college and had one child, Karim. Kenneth began working in the insurance industry almost immediately after college, and over the years, was extremely successful working for a number of major insurance companies. In 1982, he married Marlyn (Woods) and was a dedicated and devoted husband and father. In 1989, they relocated to Arizona, where he and Marlyn lived for over 20 years. While there, they rekindled his childhood interest in equestrian life. They spent countless hours riding, camping, boarding and caring for their horses.
