The panel consisted of former Canterbury Rams and Tall Blacks coach Keith Mair, long-time Nelson Giants administrator and former NBL board member Steve Fitchett, former Tall Blacks and New Plymouth Bears coach Steve McKean, Wellington Saints owner Nick Mills and former NBL player and
Stuff basketball writer Marc Hinton. Sky Sport commentator and NBL media manager Huw Beynon chaired the group.

Jamling Lama is an accomplished soccer player and an excellent baseball player, his sport of choice has always been basketball.
“I guess I started playing when I was about four or five,” Lama said of basketball. “I have two older brothers [
Sonam, now 32, and
Pema, now 26] and they were the ones to teach me the game. I rebounded the ball for them when they shot and they did it for me also. They grew up in Hoboken and I would go and watch them play in the school yards. They would take me out with them some times to play.”
How marijuana legalization in Arizona affects med card holders
For those with medical marijuana cards, Arizona s recreational marijuana rollout is a bit bumpy.
PHOENIX - The rollout of recreational marijuana has been a little bumpy for those with medical marijuana cards, and some industry leaders believe those who use cannabis for medical purposes should continue paying fees to retain their cards despite legalization.
The long lines outside of dispensaries since Friday have become a nuisance for some Arizona medical marijuana card holders. It shouldn’t take me 3 hours, said Mesa resident Kenny Mac. There should be something different for the medicinal guys and the regular guys. There’s supposed to be, isn’t there?
The Arizona Department of Health Services on Jan. 22 approved licenses for 86 facilities to begin selling recreational marijuana, bringing new jobs and long lines.
Despite the global pandemic, HPU students found ways to safely give back to the surrounding community. HPU’s Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority made 93 baby blankets for the March of Dimes Foundation, an organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies.
