Christian DiLauro, a four-year starter at Illinois, agreed to contract terms, the team announced Wednesday.
DiLauro (6-6, 300) entered the NFL in 2018 as an undrafted free agent and has spent time with Cleveland, San Francisco, Houston and Pittsburgh, and he has yet to play in a contest outside of the preseason. The Steelers cut him at the start of the 2020 regular season.
He signed to take part in current season of The Spring League but
was released a little more than a week ago.
At Illinois, DiLauro started 31 straight games beginning when he was a redshirt-freshman in 2014 and 38 games in all. He played right tackle the majority of that time saw some action at guard as a senior.

The Tennessee Titans have posted five straight winning seasons, reaching the playoffs in three of them and earning an AFC Championship Game berth in 2019.
They ll now look to keep rolling in 2021 after winning the AFC South for the first time since 2008.
Tennessee experienced more turnover than usual this offseason. Of note, wide receivers Corey Davis and Adam Humphries, tight end Jonnu Smith, right tackle Dennis Kelly, cornerbacks Adoree Jackson and Malcolm Butler and safety Kenny Vaccaro are no longer with the team.
New additions include edge-rusher Bud Dupree, wideout Josh Reynolds, cornerbacks Kevin Johnson and Janoris Jenkins, defensive lineman Denico Autry and offensive tackle Kendall Lamm.
For the third time in the last two years, an App State alum was selected in the NFL Draft.
The Green Bay Packers took Shemar Jean-Charles in the fifth round (No. 178 overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft on Saturday. The Mountaineers’ All-America cornerback was the first Sun Belt Conference player selected in this year’s draft, and it represented the culmination of a remarkable college career for the Miramar, Fla., native.
After signing with App State as a two-star recruit, he sat behind all-conference cornerbacks Clifton Duck and Tae Hayes before becoming a starter in 2019 – his fourth year with the program.
