NFL Mock Draft with all trades for 2021: Bill Barnwell proposes deals for all 32 picks, including the Jaguars, Jets and Patriots

1dJonathan Givony NFL Mock Draft with all trades for 2021: Bill Barnwell proposes deals for all 32 picks, including the Jaguars, Jets and Patriots play What can Lawrence, Jones or Wilson do that Fields can t? (2:52) Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay respond to a question about why Justin Fields is projected to fall below Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones and Zach Wilson. (2:52) Every year, I offer up my own piece of vaguely NFL draft-related content by producing a mock draft consisting entirely of trades. There are 32 picks in the first round and for each of those selections, I try to construct a trade that makes sense for two or more teams given their respective needs and team-building styles. These trade ideas, all of which are created in good faith, almost always make fans angry. Not a single one has actually come to fruition.

Tennessee Titans 2021 NFL Draft Board: Tackles - Sports Illustrated Tennessee Titans News, Analysis and More

DAY ONE OPTIONS Rashawn Slater, Northwestern (6-3, 305): Slater probably won’t be around when the Titans pick at No. 22, so it’d likely cost general manager Jon Robinson to get him. Arguably the best tackle prospect in the draft, Slater opted out of this past college football season. But he started 37 of 38 games in the other three seasons. He has played both tackle positions and consistently troubled talented Big Ten pass rushers, including rising star defensive end Chase Young (Ohio State), who Washington selected at No. 2 overall last year. Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech (6-5, 322): Darrisaw went from having few to no Division I scholarship offers to being a projected first-round pick. Titans coach Mike Vrabel has an affinity for guys who work for everything they get, and Darrisaw seems to fit that prototype. He allowed just three sacks in more than 1,100 collegiate pass-blocking snaps. He also possesses great discipline as he only had one penalty over his final 20-plus

Tennessee Titans 3-round 2021 NFL mock draft

Tennessee Titans 3-round 2021 NFL mock draft Photo by Harry How/Getty Images The Tennessee Titans are just weeks away from an important draft. An offense that’s led by the talents of Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown has lost some important secondary pieces this offseason. The departures of Jonnu Smith, Corey Davis and Adam Humphries has left the team incredibly top-heavy on that side of the ball. The signing of Josh Reynolds helps some, but the Titans need more at the receiver position. At tight end, Anthony Firkser and Geoff Swaim are currently the guys. They offer different skill-sets. Firkser is a glorified receiver that hasn’t done much blocking in Tennessee. On the other hand, Swaim is an excellent run blocker that offers little in the passing game. Both of these positions should be addressed during this month’s draft.

Updated Needs for Every NFL Team Entering 2021 NFL Draft

0 of 32 Justin Edmonds/Associated Press A lively debate ensued on social media in recent weeks (what s new?) over the viability of taking one position over another high in the draft.  The topic centered on whether the Cincinnati Bengals should select the top offensive tackle or wide receiver with this year s fifth overall pick  Whichever way a person leans in this particular discussion doesn t really matter, because the truth is the team needs to address both positions. It s not an either/or situation.  The conversation serves as a microcosm of what every organization is currently contemplating.  Even with the opportunity to address problem areas through trades and free agency
