CLEVELAND, Ohio In taking Northwestern cornerback Greg Newsome II on Thursday night, the Browns addressed concerns at cornerback.
They could look to add more defense on Friday night during Day 2 of the 2021 draft, or they could turn their attention to the offense. They won’t add an immediate starter, but can still make a shrewd longterm decision by adding a wide receiver or interior offensive lineman.

This is it. No more hmming and hawing about what each team might do. It’s time to make my final predictions for what I believe each team will do in the 2021 NFL Draft.
This is not a mock draft on what I would do; I want to be very clear on that. This is a compilation of what I’ve learned over the last few months, whether it be scouting prospects, listening to insiders, paying attention to the meetings that teams have had with prospects, and team needs.

But coach Mike Vrabel hasn t exactly handed the right tackle job to Lamm or Sambrailo. We like to have guys earn positions and try to make the competition there. Excited to bring Ty back, excited to add Kendall, as guys that have played multiple positions. Like their versatility in how they play those positions, can play either tackle, Vrabel said. I would say two guys that can play both sides, as well as probably Ty [can] kick inside and play a guard spot.
If the Titans see Sambrailo and Lamm as depth players, they ll need to strongly consider taking a player who can take hold of the right tackle position in this week s NFL draft (April 29-May 1, ESPN/ESPN App).
Titans’ needs in the draft
Wide receiver: Easily the priority given the departure of Corey Davis to the Jets last month, the Titans need someone to pair with A.J. Brown and they could benefit from finding a true slot option as well. They signed Josh Reynolds to a one-year contract, but he played a fringe role in four seasons with the Rams and has yet to prove he can be a starting-caliber player. Fortunately for the Titans, the draft is stocked with players at the position, and they should stumble upon a gem even if it’s not among the first things they address.
