KUALA LUMPUR: Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) confirmed that it has received the legal notice of demand from the solicitors acting for Wong Chee.

KUALA LUMPUR: Three victims of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) mishap along the Kelana Jaya line on May 24 who are currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) are recovering well, says Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong(pix).
“The medical team this morning reported to me that all three patients showed good progress towards recovery and they are all in more stable condition right now,“ he said in a post on his Facebook page yesterday.
Wee said a 37-year-old female patient who had undergone brain surgery on May 25 had made good recovery, and was under close monitoring by doctors.
KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The family of a passenger who was critically injured in last week s collision of two LRT trains on the Kelana Jaya line near the KLCC station has sent a letter of demand (LOD) to Prasarana Malaysia Berhad demanding RM1.8mil in damages for negligence.
The LOD was served Monday morning (May 31) through Messrs Jazzmine Khoo & Associates.
According to the law firm’s statement, the victim, Wong Chee Foong, 52, had sustained serious head, face and spinal injuries in the crash and is currently undergoing multiple surgeries and treatments at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
