Passengers on an LRT train on Monday, 24 May, faced a harrowing moment when the vehicle suddenly reached a halt before crashing into another train.
27-year-old Afiq Luqman Mohd Baharudin was on the train when the collision happened.
Recounting his experience, he told Berita Harian, The situation was calm in the train before it suddenly turned into panic with the sound of passengers screaming.

According to The Star, Prasarana chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman told a press conference today, 25 May, that
Prasarana will also cover the medical costs of every victim until they are discharged.
He said 64 passengers are still being hospitalised, with
six in critical condition and three requiring ventilators.
Bernama reported that both trains were
travelling at 40km per hour and collided head-on in the tunnel between the Kampung Baru and KLCC stations.
