WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Itâs our favorite part of the week, itâs time for Pet of the Week.

Mayah is 4-month-old dog whoâs likes snuggles and belly rubs.
Roxie is believed to be about 5 years old and she weighs in at 70 pounds. She is a beautiful girl just waiting for the right forever family. Here s what PC Pound Puppies have to say about Roxie:
Roxie recently came to our shelter as a stray and she is now available for foster or adoption. She is a very beautiful, friendly girl. We will be temp testing her this weekend but for now, we are suggesting she needs to meet any potential furry housemates first. She did come in with a male gsd so we know she is fine with some dogs. We are just not sure about others for now. We have a two week foster to adopt trial program where we can loan you a crate, leash and collar during that time. We do background checks on all adoptions so honesty up front will save us time in the process.
Travis has the very best smile! He looks like he is perpetually happy and is going to make someone a wonderful forever best friend. He is about 3 years old and weighs in at 70 pounds and his adoption has been sponsored. Here s what PC Pound Puppies say about Travis:
Travis has an overwhelmingly happy face that he wears all the time. He is a super friendly guy who needs a home that will meet his exercise needs while also using firm, consistent boundaries to keep him from getting over stimulated. The reward will be a loving, spunky, loyal pooch with a love of exploration, frisbee catching and licking food off the floor. We believe he is housetrained and has been tested with dogs and he did great but does not like cats. Sound like your kind of buddy? His adoption has been sponsored which means he will be sent home with a supply of heartworm, flea and tick prevention as well as food, all worth $150. He is ready for a two week adoption trial if you fill out an application and are approv
Dakota is a very beautiful and very special boy who needs someone equally as special to give him a forever home. Dakota can t hear. No one has taught him hand signals or sign language to use as commands and he recently lost his best friend. Here s what PC Pound Puppies say about Dakota:
Dakota is deaf and doesn t know ASL. Dakota was adopted as a puppy and everything went well until his best best buddy(the husband) died. His wife didn t bond with him and he became distrustful of people. It took weeks before we could even get a leash on him. Anybody new is going to have to take their time and will have to gain his trust. He is a good dog but someone is going to have to work with him and give him time to feel comfortable.
