How bad the fallout will be depends on which replacement coach Michigan can get in this late hour. Here are the gentlemen Michigan could take a swing at. We ll tackle some of the big names first and if we re still shopping later this week I ll have a Part II with other candidates once we have a clearer idea of the market.

Starting with the draft, Jamin Davis (Washington), Kelvin Joseph (Cowboys), Quinton Bohanna (Cowboys), Brandin Echols (Jets), Landon Young (Saints), and Phil Hoskins (Panthers) all heard their names called. And on top of that, some notable former Wildcats inked free agent deals just after the draft concluded. Drake Jackson, who many thought would be a draft pick, quickly signed a deal with the Detroit Lions, AJ Rose signed a deal with the Vikings, and Boogie Watson landed a deal with the Steelers.

Hopkinsville, KY, USA / WHOP 1230 AM | News Radio Apr 30, 2021 6:32 AM The NFL Draft began last night in Cleveland and the Tennessee Titans used the 22nd overall pick to select cornerback Caleb Farley out of Virginia Tech. The 6-foot-2 Farley opted out of the 2020 season and underwent back surgery last month, but he led the A-C-C with 16 passes defended in 2019. The Titans will pick 21st in the second round, and also have two third-round choices. The Jacksonville Jaguars made Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence the top overall pick. Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith of Alabama landed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Kentucky linebacker Jamin Davis was the 19th overall pick of the Washington Football Team. Davis is the third first round pick from the Wildcats in the Mark Stoops era.
